1. PAX Labs – US $420 Million
PAX Labs closed latest funding round totaling a deliberate $420 million in April 2019. The latest funding round market capitalization of PAX is about $1.7 billion according to PAX Labs Spokesperson.
The San Francisco-based company received the record breaking amount in equity financing from existing investors Tiger Global Management and Tao Capital Partners (Pritzker Family Fund) and new support from Prescott General Partners, Redmile Group and others. (Forbes)
2. Parallel (Formerly Surterra Wellness) – US $360 Million
Parallel has raised over $300 million (around $360 million) in private capital to date. The Series D funding (the latest funding) follows a period of rapid growth for Surterra over the past few months, which has transformed the company into a multi-state cannabis health and wellness business operator with recognizable brands, a revenue-generating business strategy, and meaningful investments in people, science, technology and innovation. 3. Privateer Holdings – US $180 Million
Privateer Holdings, well known as a major shareholder of Tilray (NASDAQ: TLRY) raised nearly $200 million in funding to date.
Latest funding release states that more than $100 million in new funding brings the firm’s fundraising total to $200 million, the largest private capital raise closed in the legal cannabis industry to date (January 2018). Privateer Holdings will use this new financing to expand its existing portfolio of brands to new markets, to make strategic acquisitions and to launch new ventures.
